Mauricio Arango and Johanna Gutiérrez, a talented couple of circus artists with a solid trajectory of 15 years of experience for Mauricio and 8 years for Johanna in the world

of performing arts. 

 

Mauricio’s artistic career began in 2012, once he finished his professional studies as circus artist in Colombia he started to travel around the world onboard P&O Australia and MSC cruise line, and participate in circus festivals in Cuba and Spain where he got 4 different awards. This goals allowed him to reach more than 40 countries thanks to his talent and skills like manipulation cube, diabolo, adagio, etc.

 

On the other hand, Johanna had artistic training in different schools, academies and companies in Colombia. As specialist in aerials and flexibility, she has been part of Festivals such as the Bogotá International Circus Festival 2019, and the Cali International Theater Festival 2021.

 

In 2023, they merged their passion and skills, committed to excellence and passionate about creating unique audience experiences in Duo One Soul, project with which they have been on stages in Dominican Republic, Dubai and Bahamas, working in Resorts, Luxury Malls and onboard of a cruise ship where amazed the audience with their soloist and duo acts.

 

Now, they have a brand new 45 minute show full of energy, rock vibes and interactive stage magic, mixed with acrobatic, aerial acts, and LED section,  perfect to perform on the high seas or theaters around the world for English and/or Spanish audiences.
