Ilja de Boer was born in a small village in the North of the Netherlands. She grew up in a family where music was the key - from the moment she was born there was music and entertainment all around her. When she was 10 years old she landed her first professional role in the dutch original musical theatre show 'Ciske de rat'.

In 2020, Ilja graduated from the Frank Sanders Academy for musical and music theatre. Soon after this she performerd her self written solo program in several theatres in and around Amsterdam. She successfully succeeded the Vocal Core Teacher course.

Currently Ilja works as a freelance singer, actress and hostess in various shows around Europe. Coming July she can be seen in the original dutch musical theatre spectacle 'De tocht' where she will be singing and acting on ice skates.

 

Ilja is a triple threat who always brings the house down!
