ABOUT JELMER

Jelmer was born and raised in the Netherlands. His passion for singing and dancing started at a young age at the local theatreschool in his hometown. He was nominated for best male supporting actor for the national amateur musical awards in 2016. This was the final push for him to want to become a professional singer and dancer. After high school Jelmer studied musical theatre at Codarts and will finish his four year study at the Frank Sanders Akademie this year. For his internship Jelmer played in the professional production of 'The Prom' that toured through the Netherlands in season 2022/2023.
