Mayke van der Zanden is an musical theatre trained All-round vocalist and performer. She was born in Eindhoven the Netherlands, but is now based in Amsterdam. She grew up in a family full of music, always singing and always dreaming of a life as an artist. When she was 13 she fell in love with musical theatre and decided that she wanted to become a professional performer.  From that day on she started following singing, dancing and acting classes. 

In 2019 she was accepted to the Frank Sanders Akademie for Musical en Music-Theatre. During her studies she got to perform in various shows and variety acts. During the final year of college she got to make her dreams come true when she got to play the principal role of Sterre in Misfit the musical from Theatre Terra. The show was not only a big succes, but was also nominated for best original Dutch Musical. In 2023 Mayke graduated and is now performing in different acts and variety shows as a freelance performer.
