Sophie van Laar

Sophie is a versatile Dutch dancer, singer, and performer with a strong background in classical ballet. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance (Classical Ballet) from London Studio Centre and has since started building a career across various prestigious productions.

She is currently performing as a dancer and face character at Disneyland Paris, bringing beloved characters to life with grace and authenticity. Previously, she worked as a dance captain at Efteling Entertainment Productions, where she led performances for Pardijns Meedijn Festijn, showcasing both her leadership skills and artistic versatility. Her stage experience also includes touring with Images Ballet Company, performing in De Hippe Sinterklaasshow, and taking part in LAVA’s contemporary dance production Nachthexen II, Tender.

Fluent in Dutch and English, Sophie is known for her strong stage presence, technical excellence, and ability to connect with audiences of any age. In addition to her performance skills, she is also a certified Pilates instructor, further enhancing her understanding of movement and physical artistry.
